BBC star Amanda Hamilton to open the first London Mumpreneurs’ conference hosted by peer support group London Mums
The UK top mumpreneurs provide testimonials at the networking event titled ‘Reaching for the sky … from humble beginnings’ at Eddie Catz in London on 4th March 2010
London, UK – 21st February, 2010 – On 4th March 2010 Amanda Hamilton, former presenter of BBC show ‘Something for the weekend’ and successful mumpreneur, will open the first London Mumpreneurs’ conference hosted by London Mums, the only free and independent peer support group for mums based in London, in collaboration with edutainment centre Eddie Catz. The event titled ‘Reaching for the sky … from humble beginnings’ is aimed at any mum (or mum-to-be) in business. Whether they are simply weighing up their options, just started out, or have been running for years, this event is a unique opportunity for mums to hear the testimonials of the most successful mumpreneurs in the UK, network with likeminded people, and have the chance to ask questions to celebrity mumpreneurs. Speakers include Laura Tenison, founder and managing director of JoJo Maman Bébé, Anna Gibson and Philippa Gogarty, Co-Founders and Joint Directors of Micro Scooters Ltd – the ladies who transformed London into ‘Scooterlandia’, celebrity entertainer Amanda Frolich, Kumud Gandhi founder of The Saffron House catering company and The Cooking Academy (well-known for catering stars like Madonna and royals such as the Prince of Wales and the Saudi Royal family). Penny Avis, accountant and author will moderate the conference.
